This is a story about dreams, friendship and the sky.
The protagonist Jin Hui, nicknamed "No Fly", has dreamed of flying since he was a child. Starting from a paper plane that crashed into the flowers, he embarked on a long road to pursue his dream. At the Aviation Pilot Academy, he met three close friends - the flamboyant Qin Rui, the calm Jiang Yuan, and the timid Lin Yue, and formed the "608 Dormitory". Together, they experienced rigorous training, cruel elimination, and thrilling situations, growing from trainees to real pilots.
The novel spans forty years, from the fear of flying solo for the first time to flying across the ocean on an A380; from encountering thunderstorms, engine failure and other life-and-death tests; from the laughter and tears of youthful campus to the warm ending of four people flying around Australia in a small plane after retirement.
This is not only the growth history of pilots, but also a hymn dedicated to all dream chasers. It tells everyone who looks up to the sky: No matter how high you fly, you must remember the way home.
Purpose: The profession of pilot is not that simple. I hope to express the beginning, process, test, failure and success of a professional pilot through this novel.
