The curtains opened a crack.
The light filtered in and fell on the floor, like a small piece of golden quilt.
Su Wan lay on the bed and looked at the small strip of light.
She had just had a long dream. In the dream, someone was reminiscing in the office, and in the dream, someone accompanied her throughout her life.
She knew that wasn't true.
She also knew that from now on, she would enter the real reincarnation. The first life, the second life, the third life, the fourth life. She would ask the same question again and again until she found the answer.
But she wanted to lie still a little longer.
Think again of that summer under the orange trees.
Think again of the girl who said, "I will write a book about you one day."
Consider again the words written on the last page of the manuscript:
"If I wake up one day, please remember - she lived half of my life for me."
The curtain moved again. The light broadened a bit.
Su Wan slowly sat up.
She's going to wake up.
To start the reincarnation she is destined to experience.

Intention: All inquiries have a starting point, and all reincarnations begin with a dream. We spend our lives searching for answers, and finally find that how we live is more important than how we answer.
