In order to send his mother's ashes back to the grassland and find inspiration for a new movie, Luo Yang, a Mongolian director who has lived in Beijing since childhood, set foot on this land that he has never set foot on. Luo Yang hired equestrian coach Unid as his guide. With their prejudice against each other, the two set out deep into the grassland for a journey of more than ten days.
