This summer is like every other summer.
The chirping of cicadas, the scorching sun, the watermelons soaked in the well water, and the long shadows stretched out on the grain drying field. There were also four children who reunited after a long separation. In the woods at dusk, they discovered an ancient tree with strange symbols carved on it.
Then, everything was different.
They were swept up in the strong wind, fell into the ground, and pushed open a bronze door that had been dusty for thousands of years. Behind the door is a world called "Yingdu" - there is a talking phoenix; there is the mysterious power hidden in the heart; there are ancient chimes scattered everywhere; and there is a world shrouded in fog, called Nightmare Lord's nightmare.
They thought they were the chosen heroes, tasked with saving the world.
It wasn't until the end that they understood——
That world is already in their hearts.
This is a story about friendship, growth and return. About how four children find forgotten happiness and each other in an incredible adventure.
Of course, it's also about a fiery red feather and a summer that never ends.
