Abel grew up in Levinton, a small town in the trade hub valley. He was the adopted son of Loren Gersham, the chief priest of the Temple of Mercy. The child Ilmat, the god whom Loren served, gave to Loren when Abel appeared in Levinton as an infant.
The vampire spawn that was accidentally rescued brought a series of troubles to Abel.
