"Do you believe there are ghosts in this world?"
Believe it or not, Miao Qing depends on this for a living.
He is usually a third-tier actor on the set, and occasionally a certified professional Feng Shui master. She has only two creeds in life: make money and sleep. As for the ghosts who came to her door - repaying injustice or seeking revenge, she was only responsible for giving them a ride.
There was an actress named Takano on the set, and she always liked to compete with her in the dressing room for the mirror. That day when we were filming the falling-in-the-water scene, Takano actually fell in, and something pulled her feet under the pond.
Miao Qing fished her out.
From then on, Takano became attached to her.
"What on earth do you do?"
"Magic."
"Liar."
"Then you still ask."
Later, Takano began to see some things he shouldn't have seen. She didn't know whether this was a good thing or a bad thing, she only knew that every time something happened, Miao Qing would appear.
They have been to the Mazu Temple on the coast, seen wolves in Tibet, and traveled through the Tarim desert. I have taken over a rich girl who was betrayed by a kid, and I have also witnessed an old lady setting up a stall under an overpass that can change everything.
But Miao Qing has been hiding a question in her heart:
Why did her eyes suddenly turn golden one day, and why did the cinnabar jade hanging on her body keep getting hot?
And - when did Takano, a talkative, timid, nosy woman, become the person she least wanted to lose?
