The roar of the stadium's collapse was the starting point of Qiu Shu's memory. Every time he opened his eyes, he went back to the day he met Lin Luohui.
He tried to take him away in advance, but saw him being swept away by a runaway train in a new disaster; he learned first aid, but could not prevent a sudden cardiac arrest.
Lin Luohui is also struggling in the cycle. He counted the calendar to avoid the alley where Qiu Shu died, but saw him die in a sea of fire while saving a stranger; he hid his car keys, but he was involved in a series of car accidents while walking. When the two finally broke through each other's secret in a certain rebirth, before the hands they held were warm, the load-bearing wall of the gymnasium crashed down.
Fire, disease, accident... Death comes as scheduled in different forms. The only constant is that there is always one person who has to close his eyes to protect the other person.
The cycle has no end and salvation never succeeds. But every time he was reborn, Qiu Shu would still hold an umbrella and run towards Lin Luohui in the heavy rain. Lin Luohui would still pull him away from the billboard that was about to fall when he saw him - even if the world would restart in the next second.
