In the spring of 2010 in Luoping, rapeseed flowers were in full bloom all over the mountains, but 17-year-old Lin Wanqiao put her washed-white school uniform neatly on the desk of her class teacher. Her father accidentally fell and fractured her lumbar spine. Grandma couldn't live without medicine all year round. Half of the sky in her house collapsed. Her dream of studying came to an abrupt end, and she plunged into the quagmire of life like a camellia knocked down in a sudden rain. From the dishwashing sink of a restaurant in the county town, to a pickle stall in Kunming Zhuanxin, to a handicraft shop in the ancient city of Dali, she traveled all over the mountains and rivers of southern Yunnan and experienced three tender but fruitless relationships. She finally determined that everyone she met was not as important as the cup of hot water she drank in the morning. In 2019, she returned to her hometown with all her skills, selling her hometown's scenery to all over the world, and living her life became her own light. In the sea of ten thousand acres of golden flowers, she met the fellow traveler who wanted to take root in her hometown and eat well with her.
Purpose: Using the rural areas of southern Yunnan as the background, it tells the story of women's growth path to overcome the difficulties in life, and interprets the core of "loving yourself is the beginning of a lifelong romance". Only by taking root and growing by yourself can you live your own light and meet souls that resonate with the same frequency.
