Big boss attack
(First perspective of introduction, third perspective of text)
I played the role of the ghost's brother for three months, until the blond kid with a milky voice grabbed my clothes and said with a smile: "Brother, you don't have a sister at all."
This is a heart-devouring holographic infinite flow game, and I am the most special existence - I was supposed to be a winner in life with a silver spoon in my mouth, but because I thought life was too boring, I actively signed up to become a "half player" on the NPC track. Every time the dungeon is opened, my memory will be tampered with, and I will play the role of relatives and friends of the ghost: the brother of the female ghost, the younger brother of the ghost boss, and even the childhood sweetheart of the ghost. I can't even remember who I am, I only remember to play the role in my hand well.
And he is the craziest player I have ever seen.
He is obviously a tall, long-legged foreign boss with both civil and military skills, but he relies on his acting skills to dominate the dungeon: he pretends to be a cute blond kid who can make ghosts blush and hand out candy; he pretends to be a delicate girl, even the ghost boss has to protect him; occasionally he switches to a white-haired old man, who is as elegant as a saint walking out of an oil painting. He talks little, but is always the brains that determines the outcome of the team. Even the system cannot figure out his true identity.
In the first dungeon, I played the role of the female ghost brother controlled by my sister, protecting my "sister" from the air, until he looked at me with those clear children's eyes, revealing my tampered memory - I don't have a sister at all, I am just an NPC manipulated by the game.
In later dungeons, he always liked to appear around me with different identities: sometimes he was a pitiful little boy who needed my protection, sometimes he was an elegant nobleman who could block the attacks of ghosts and monsters for me. I struggled between the identities of NPC and player, but in his eyes again and again, I could clearly see the tenderness hidden under the drama queen's mask.
In this infinite flow, I thought I was the NPC controlling the plot, until he took off all disguises, stroked my cheek with his fingertips, and asked softly: "Now, are you willing to be my 'player'?"
Who is playing whom? Who was interested in this game first?
