[Youth Romance/Two-way Secret Love/Platonic Love]
"For some people, meeting them once in a lifetime is enough. That midsummer moment will always remain the moment when they love each other the most."
Do we really love the person in front of us, or are we just reluctant to let go of the youth we spent with him and never look back?
This is a short campus love story that delicately depicts the regrets of youth and growth and transformation. The story begins next to the gardenias on the day after the college entrance examination, and ends on a sober rainy night many years later. Through the time slices of Wen Xia and Jiang Yuzhou from the age of eighteen to twenty-one, it tells the story of how two teenagers who once deeply loved each other's souls gradually discovered as the years passed that what they treasured may just be the reflection in their memories.
They loved each other deeply in their memories, but they had to let go and let that summer boy and girl stay in time forever.
