The sound of the pipa strings makes the young man lose his mind. From the haze of Jinan to the brightness of Xicheng in Beijing, Li Wanxian spent eight years planting light in the mud and living a new life in the sound of the strings.
She is a Sichuan girl who entered the world with the pipa. She was protected by her grandmother's music during her childhood. However, as a teenager, she suffered from regional discrimination, school bullying, and power suppression. She was framed for stealing, spread rumors and gained notoriety, and was deprived of the qualification to take exams. Even her pipa was smashed into dust. Chasing the light all the way, she survived despair in the cold winter in Jinan, but held on to hope on the train heading north, and finally opened the door to the Central Conservatory of Music with her piano skills.
Meeting her mentor Zhou Mingyuan, she untied her heart and regained her soul. Accompanied by Jiang Hao, she grew from a guarded girl to a light that can illuminate others. When she stood on the international stage with her original charity intention of "strings to warm people's hearts", she used the pipa to tell the story of struggle and redemption; when she reconciled with her mother who had been absent for ten years, and stayed with her lover who had been silently guarding her for eight years, those past pains were transformed into the confidence in the strings, achieving the most dazzling bloom.
This is a story about growth, redemption and perseverance: on the pipa string, there are both the tears and stubbornness of youth, and the tenderness and determination of adulthood; some are chasing the light in the darkness, and some are guarding in the dim light. In the end, everyone is in love and tolerance, reconciles with the past, and embraces the future. The sound of strings shatters the past, warms the rest of life, and finally becomes the most beautiful and complete movement in life.
Intention: Broken strings become a dead ring, and joy leads to new life.
