In the 1970s, agricultural graduate student Lu Beichen's wheat seeds were destroyed and he traveled through time and became the leading son of the same name in Beijing. Taking the only remaining books with him, he took the initiative to go to the countryside to join the team, and met Lin Xiaohe, the daughter of the village party secretary in Liushugou, northern Shanxi, a calm, tenacious girl who was familiar with the land.
