The story takes place in Inari Township, deep in the mountains of Northeastern Japan...
The wandering wolf king Akai Shuichi fell in front of the torii gate in Inari Township, covered in blood.
The one who saved him was a hard-spoken and soft-hearted fox god, Jianggu Ling, a sick and weak god who protected this land. He was greedy and picky, and would curl up into a ball and say "I'm fine" every month when he had abdominal pain. Akai should have left after recovering from his injuries, but he stayed to cook him seven-grass porridge, stewed oden, and grilled sweet fish, and watched him moan in his arms.
"I hate Shuichi Akai the most." The little fox said this every day.
As the seasons pass, delicious food warms the heart. From boiled spring bamboo shoots to boiled rice cakes, from plum wine to crab pot - this is a story about using food to heal the sick and the weak, and using love to protect the home.
Under the cherry blossoms in spring, and when the snow sets in winter, the Wolf King and the Fox God are finally no longer alone.
Purpose: Protect home with love
