When Gu Nan was fifteen years old, her father Xuexian died, and her mother committed suicide by swallowing medicine because she couldn't bear the pain. His father's best friend in Tibet took him in to raise him. Sapu Mountain is beautiful, but the high altitude difference and mental pressure and pain left Gu Nan in a deep haze. Until the sound of the hawk's whistle on that snowy night soothed his nightmares and dispelled the haze. In the dream, the young man holding an eagle bone flute and wearing a dark blue Tibetan robe whose face could not be seen only said one sentence:
"When I return from the sacred mountain, I will ferry you as if I were crossing myself."
