It unfolds from Jiang Sheng's first-person perspective. Jiang Sheng is a doctor and Xie Ru is a policeman. Both of them had very miserable childhoods. They are two-way redemptions. The first time they met Xie Ru was as roommates, and they gradually fell in love with each other as they got along. However, in less than a week together, Xie Ru left during a mission. Jiang Sheng couldn't accept it. On the eighth day after Xie Ru left, she left with him holding a photo of him.
