The day we broke up, he told me he had something important to do, but couldn't tell me what it was.
I said, “Oh, okay. I also have something important I can't tell you.”
And then we broke up.
Ten years later, I went to Italy on a mission. I was originally just hoping to take a vacation, but then...
Fate: I'll arrange for your client to be your ex.
Me: Thanks, I really appreciate it. What is wrong with you?!
Hatsumoto Yugao was a model employee at the Armed Detective Agency. Whatever job came her way, she could always resolve it quickly and perfectly. She thought she'd spend her whole life handling one assignment after another, until one day she received a mission in Italy.
Please note:
1. Pairing: 270, one-on-one, third person, long-form story. It begins with their reunion ten years later.
2. Apologies for any out-of-character moments.
3. Crossover with Bungo Stray Dogs.
4. The story begins after the assumed endings of Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and Bungo Stray Dogs, as I imagine them.
And now, a little promo for my upcoming stories:
“These Years I've Spent Secretly in Love with the Boss” pairing: 270
“He Taught Me to Draw Eyes” contemporary romance
“These Years I've Spent Secretly in Love with the Boss”
Blurb:
The longest dream Wangyue Chenghai ever had began when her family arranged for her to work alongside Sawada Tsunayoshi in high school.
From the cherry blossoms of Namimori to the winter snow of Palermo, from a flustered boy to a steady, dependable Godfather.
As his secretary, she watched his eventful life unfold and kept her own forbidden feelings hidden.
She knew there was someone else in his heart, a first love she could never hope to replace.
So she did her duty, swallowing both her love and her heartache, becoming his most trusted sword and shield.
Later, when they had finally established themselves in Italy and their relationship began to blur the lines, she was the first to come to her senses.
“I should go back to Japan,” she said.
He was silent for a long time, then replied with just one word: “Okay.”
She thought it was the best ending. They could return to where they had started and go their separate ways in peace.
Until six months later, when she received news of Sawada Tsunayoshi's death.
If only I'd known, I would have rather stayed in that dream.
Please note: 1. This is the world where 270 fakes his death. He doesn't really die.
2. A bittersweet coming-of-age romance.
3. Third person, one-on-one pairing, with out-of-character moments.
“He Taught Me to Draw Eyes”
Blurb: Li Xun taught Lu Youyi how to draw eyes.
He told her to soften the edges of the iris, place the highlights in the upper left, and use a light touch on the lower eyelid.
Later, on the day they were assigned to different classes, Li Xun drew her on the back of her school uniform, all crooked and wobbly. He said he'd practiced all night.
Lu Youyi drew him on his white T-shirt, her hand shaking so badly the picture came out a mess. He looked down at it and smiled. “It's okay. I'll teach you more as we go.”
Later, he went to the art class, while Lu Youyi went to the humanities class.
When they ran into each other in the hallway, Li Xun ruffled her hair. “Lu Youyi, how many drafts do you still owe me?”
That was the last time he smiled at her.
Later, he sent her a message: I want to say goodbye to the past.
His profile picture went gray, and his number was no longer in service.
Seven years later, their editor arranged a get-together, saying it was time for two authors who never showed their faces to finally meet.
Lu Youyi opened the private room door. Li Xun was sitting by the window, his hand resting on the rim of his cup. He raised his refined eyes without a trace of expression, as though looking at a stranger.
The editor was about to introduce them.
Lu Youyi gripped the strap of her purse until her knuckles turned white, then smiled. “There's no need. We know each other. He taught me to draw eyes.”
Because the way he looked at me was exactly the same as when he taught me to draw eyes.
Theme: I kept it from you because I was afraid you'd get hurt, but real love means standing side by side.
I was actually a little bit annoyed with Dazai and my sister...
Wow [Star Eyes] is a feeling of freedom and redemption [Spread Flowers], with childish wantonness and teenage arrogance. It is not to save the princess locked in the castle, but to awaken Xi Yan's soul that tied herself up and stayed in the past [Spread Flowers]
Something feels weird about this writing style
[Lop-eared Rabbit Head] I'm looking forward to the time to untie my knot later.
While the examination of the mother's family was going on, 270 went to Yokohama and found that Yugao's mother's family was everywhere [throwing flowers]
Ranpo works like a decompressor every time. When you see a person or thing, right-click on it to decompress the information.
I can't do it anymore, I feel like a resentful woman, Dazai
Hhhhh I'm so nervous, it's perfect for a scene in an anime hhh
I imagined it in my mind
Is the doctor someone someone the heroine's mother knows?
