This book is based on the real experiences of three post-80s women in Yunnan, telling the story of their struggle, destruction and rebirth under the influence of fate, and their journey of finding a glimmer of light at the end of disappointment and despair. They have been objectified, labeled, and defined as tool people and symbol people. They are victims kidnapped by family affection and sacrificed by secular discipline in the name of "love." The protagonist Wang Xiaoxian completed her final resistance with death, Wang Mei achieved belated repentance with death, Li Jiaojiao recognized reality in compromise, and Liu Tingmei completed self-salvation while walking.
