The mountains were covered with heavy snow, and a demon-slaying master who had lived for an unknown number of years picked up an injured white fox in the deep mountains and old forests.
The fox was pure white, like a ball of breathing snow. The demon subduing master didn't want to meddle in other people's business - he had lived for too long and had seen too many demons, so he had long since learned not to be tempted. But the fox huddled in the snow and called him "Brother". He put it in his arms and took it home.
After the injury healed, the white fox transformed into a human form. He was a pure white young man with gentle eyebrows and crooked eyes when he smiled.
He taught him how to be a good man, taught him how to read, and taught him not to trust anyone easily. But he was too naive, always nodding his head while listening, and was deceived by the candied haws seller in the blink of an eye. Every time the demon subduing master brought him back, he would curl his lips aggrievedly: "But that person said that candied haws don't cost money."
They moved together, planted flowers together, were cheated together, and drank porridge together. His father came and persuaded him to go back and inherit the demon world. He said, "I have a family";
They have lived too long. It's been so long that I can't remember how many times I have moved, how many times I have planted flowers, and how many times I have been cheated. But every time he was deceived, he would squat down and wait; every time the demon subduing master found him, he would stand up, hold his hand, and say with a smile: "Brother, you are here."
Ten thousand years is too long, but as long as you are here, it is not too long.
This is a story about time - two people forgotten by time find each other in the long river of time.
Intention: When you wait, your life will not be in vain.
