Introduction to the work
"Porcelain Bones" is an all-male group portrait novel focusing on forensic doctors and criminal police. The story begins with a bizarre serial murder case. The deceased died in a strange manner, but the scene was as clean as if it had been carefully wiped. During the investigation, the forensic doctor of the city bureau found that the method of the case was strikingly similar to that of Bai Yueguang, Mei, who chose to become a police officer during his college days. At the same time, the dusty past and real crises erupted together, involving an old love that had parted ways, the tragedy of brotherly feud, and a crazy organization trying to reshape human civilization.
During the foggy investigation, Porcelain and Mei were forced to join forces again. Not only do they have to face extremely vicious criminals, but they also have to face the unhealed scars in each other's hearts. From the temptation and alienation when they reunited on a rainy night, to the life-and-death struggle to protect each other, the two gradually regained the love and trust they had lost in time.
