(No CP, friendly, purely solving crimes and solving puzzles)
In September 2026, Jiang Lingmo was alerted.
He was assigned to a veteran detective named Zhang Mingyuan - a veteran detective who had followed the old case for 26 years. Everyone in the team said that that man had a case that was not solved and could not be put aside.
Jiang Lingmo opened the file:
Between 1885 and 1990, five children aged 8 to 12 died in an abandoned brick kiln. The cause of death was poison injection. The bodies were arranged with their hands folded and their eyes open. There were no traces of the murderer at the scene.
And Zhang Mingyuan's knot also stems from this case...
Shortly after Jiang Lingmo joined the police, a new case occurred. Abandoned brick kiln, poison injected, child's hands folded, eyes open. Exactly the same.
Everyone thought the murderer of the year was back. Only Jiang Lingmo discovered that the new case used a modern disposable syringe, but twenty-six years ago, the murderer used an old-fashioned glass syringe.
Did the murderer upgrade his crime methods or imitate the crime? Who are the imitators? Can the syringe from twenty-six years ago ever see the light of day again?
And Jiang Lingmo discovered that this case was dragging on not only a murderer, but also a night that the old man would never get through.
Concept: Some eyes take a lifetime to close.
