It tells the story of transfer student Su Xingjian who accidentally gets involved in a series of mysteries surrounding the campus clock tower after he transfers to Xinglan Middle School, a century-old prestigious school. In the past three years, on the eve of the school's anniversary, there have been "accidental" injuries or disappearances of students. All clues vaguely point to the retro clock tower with the legend of "the midnight bell wakes up the secret." However, the school always hastily closed the case on the grounds of "accident".
