Some things have obviously passed away for a long time, but every time I think about them, my heart still aches, and that unforgettable feeling never goes away. I thought I would be able to let go after a long time, but later I discovered that some people and some things have been engraved in my bones for a long time, and I can't forget them or let them go. Many late nights I kept thinking about it, if we had gotten along in a different way, the ending would not have been so regrettable and sad. I said it didn't matter, it was over, but only I knew that I had never really crossed over the hurdle in my heart, nor could I completely let go.
Even though we have lost contact and have no interactions with each other, when we pass by a familiar place and hear similar words, we still instantly think of them and our emotions break down instantly. I have tried to delete all traces and clear all memories, but the place in my heart has always been empty and occupied. No one can get in, and I can't get out. The most tormenting thing is not the separation, but the beautiful memories that make people always stand there, unwilling to move forward, and unable to really let go. I often wonder whether you will think of me occasionally, and whether you will feel regretful and sad like me for a moment.
I know and understand many things, and I know the truth better than anyone else, but my emotions don't listen and my heart doesn't listen, and it's still hard to let go. It's not that I can't let go of that person, it's more that I can't let go of myself without any reservations at the time, and that I can't let go of that time when I gave sincerely but had no results. Later, I never trusted anyone else as much as I trusted you, and I never liked anyone else as much as I liked you. This is probably the deepest obsession. I always turn over and over in the middle of the night, my mind filled with scenes from the past. The more I think about it, the sadder and sadder I become, but I can't help but think about it.
