In the yin of Kunlun, there is a river named Duling, where ice condenses thousands of feet and is covered with snow for thousands of years. There are no birds flying on the river, no fish swimming under the water, only the endless cold mist wrapped in broken snow, covering the withered pines on the edge of the cliff, the broken bones at the bottom of the river, and the black iron monument that has been erected for thousands of years.
There is no text on the stele, but there is a trace of blood engraved on it, as red as cinnabar, which has not faded after thousands of years.
Legend has it that the Duling River is the place where yin and yang meet, and both living and dead souls can cross it. It is also said that there is an ancient ferocious beast at the bottom of the river, called Soul Swallowing, which feeds on living souls and nourishes on resentment. Only the Duling River in Qingya Mountain can use blood as a contract and soul as a guide to control this river and guard this world.
The soul-transferring person in this life is named Shen Qingci.
