A pink petal pendant, and a comic book have quietly caused a fateful entanglement in dual time and space that spans seven years.
In a modern campus, comic book girl Su Zhiman meets the poisonous-tongued and arrogant rich boy Ling Xing, and the gentle and tolerant Xia Wangmo. Ling Jing was never forgiving, but would silently come to her rescue when she was in trouble; Xia Wangmo was gentle and considerate, always caring for her when she needed it. An unexpected time and space dislocation caused Ling Xing to mysteriously disappear on graduation day, leaving Su Zhiman alone to wait for seven years.
Seven years later, Su Zhiman was arranged on a blind date by her brother. In order to help her out, her best friend Wen Wanyan accidentally touched the pink petal pendant she had been wearing and traveled to an ancient and different world. There, Wen Wanyan bumped into the heir apparent of the Yue clan who looked exactly like Ling Jin, and was even more shocked to discover that in another world there was a girl with the same name as Su Zhiman, who was taking the blame for someone else's escape from marriage. It turns out that Ling Jin's disappearance was not because he left without saying goodbye, but because he was involved in a systematic mission that spanned time and space. He went through power and intrigue in another world just to return to Su Zhiman again.
When the clues of the two time and space gradually intertwined, Su Zhiman finally understood that the separation was a test of fate. And Xia Wangmo, in these seven years, has always guarded her with gentle eyes, giving silently but never speaking. Across life, death, time and space, Ling Jin returned with his longing for Su Zhiman. Their relationship became stronger after going through tests, but Xia Wangmo's figure remained in the depths of time forever.
The work combines the ignorant excitement of campus youth with the intrigues of ancient times and otherworldly affairs. It delicately depicts the duplicity of the arrogant male protagonist and the forbearance of the affectionate male lead. In the pull of dual time and space, it explores the eternal propositions of love and waiting, fate and choice. In the ending OE, everyone's story has their own answer.
