After failing in the college entrance examination, he sensed the real existence of gods and vowed to serve the general. After repeating a grade, he concentrated on his studies and his grades improved significantly, but he still needed to improve. His elder brother transferred him to Xiatang Primary School. Under the guidance of Yanshi Cai Xian and Wenshi Zhang, he studied hard and made rapid progress, eventually becoming a good student. In the preliminary examination, he was admitted to Neikeng Middle School with excellent results and was praised as the talent who "took away the feng shui of Weiyang Village". Azhi's growth was not only due to his own efforts, but also benefited from the wise eyes of famous teachers and the blessing of gods. He was grateful to the general and enshrined him in Guangming Temple in Taichung to repay his kindness.
