Hidden high in the sky, invisible to the human world, is a cloud forest composed of clouds, starlight, dewdrops and rainbows. Here live little talking squirrels, dew elves with transparent wings, cloud guardians who control the weather, singing star seeds, and all kinds of magical creatures.
Lin Xiaoman, a timid but kind-hearted human girl, accidentally broke into the cloud forest and found that the forest was slowly disappearing - the dark fog shadow monster stole the magical core of the forest, causing the clouds to become gray, the trees to wither, and the elves to lose their power. Xiaoman, together with his new friends Libao the squirrel and Luzhuer the dewdrop elf, embark on an adventure to find magic fragments and save the cloud forest.
Along the way, they crossed the Rainbow Bridge, sneaked into the Lake of Stars, climbed the Wind Mountain, visited Grandma Moon, learned courage, friendship, perseverance and love, and finally defeated the fog shadow monster and protected this beautiful secret realm in the sky.
