Zheng Qishu is a 17-year-old high school student in Muchuan City in the 21st century. Although she has chosen the direction of history, she is not interested in history at all. During an accidental wandering, a piece of bamboo brought her to Muchuan two thousand years ago.
When she woke up, she faced rough and beams, and the 19-year-old deputy general Du Xun. Du Xun is the nephew of General Du Liao. His parents died when he was young. He has been marching with his uncle since he was 12 years old.

Du Xun searched for a home for her, and finally found a family named Zheng in Muchuan. He turned to Zheng Qishu and said, "Xun is going to ask if he can betroth Qishu, a descendant of the Zheng family, to me."
