Introduction to the work:
Lu Linfeng received the key left by his father who had been missing for eighteen years and stepped into a strange apartment in the old city. Three notebooks reveal the truth: the building is built on a crack in reality, with walls that grow and Morse code tapping heard late at night. His father Lin Shen disappeared in search of the truth on the "other side", leaving only clues leading to Shen Mo, the owner of the second-hand bookstore.
Shen Mo told him that the cracks would open again in fourteen days, and the secret organization "Gatekeeper" was planning to erase everything. Forced to inherit his father's research, Lu Linfeng put on glasses that could see the unknowable, and joined hands with Shen Mo to embark on a dangerous journey to find his loved ones and the truth amidst the whispers of the walls and the erosion of reality. They must bring back the answer from the edge of the abyss within the time limit, or be swallowed by it forever.
