Purpose: It explores the fate of individuals kidnapped by grand narratives (imperial power, immortality, family mission), and how in desperate situations, people with different ideas move from differences to cooperation, fighting for real relief (not just survival). Multiple contradictions such as science and metaphysics, loyalty and betrayal, protection and destruction, selfish desires and atonement are intertwined, and ultimately point to a theme: breaking the fate designed by others, and making a "human" choice for the future of oneself and the tribe.
