Chinese photographer Song Qing, who is accustomed to building walls with her lens, went to a small town in Syria to collect battlefield materials, but was forced to stay because of a sudden war that blocked her return. Wei Yun, a Chinese female teacher who is gentle and tough, believes in the three-foot podium, and endures loneliness alone, has become her only light in the smoke.
The compatriots rely on each other in a foreign land, Song Qing loses her indifference, and Wei Yun resolves her loneliness, saving each other in the flames of war. When the smoke subsided, Song Qing finally boarded her flight home, but Wei Yun was unfortunately attacked by artillery fire and seriously injured. She was even swallowed by the shadow of war, leading to schizophrenia.
Across the mountains, seas and pain, Song Qing looked back with unfinished concerns, while Wei Yun was trapped in a broken mind.
Intention: The world is for the common good, the rivers are clear and the seas are flowing.
