In her sophomore year of high school, Jing Xiao fell in love online. They met in July. She was 3 years older than her. Shen Zhi thought she was too young. Later, Jing Xiao said she wanted to be friends with him.
In August, Jing Xiao dropped out of school. She took a taxi to meet Shen Zhi. There was an earthquake in Ningcheng that day. Shen Zhi died in the earthquake trying to save her.
In November, Jing Xiao died after resuscitation failed.
