The sunny and cheerful Ye Anlong and the calm and reserved Zhang Xibo became roommates after meeting by chance and spent their high school years together.
Ye Anlong was born into a privileged family. He is as warm and bright as the midsummer sun and longs for true friendship. Zhang Xibo, he is as detached and restrained as the tide in a quiet night, and is used to keeping a distance. From their first meeting at the beginning of school, running in in the dormitory to arduous military training, the two worlds quietly intertwined in the collision.
Based on their daily affairs, it depicts the exploration and struggle of teenagers among academics, friendship, family and self-awareness...
Intention: When people know that all encounters will eventually lead to separation, are they still willing to sincerely get closer? Through the delicate push-pull and blending between Zhang Xibo, who is as alienated as the tide, and Ye Anlong, who is as warm as the sun, this work examines the perseverance of young people's dignity despite differences, and also celebrates the sincerity that knows that gathering and separation are impermanent, but still bravely forges a profound connection.
