Tang Dynasty's daughter Li Zhaoming was the daughter of Princess Li Kangning of Pingyang Zhao. His original surname was Chai. He was born on the first day of spring, when the sun was rising. The princess loved him deeply, so he was named "Zhaoming". When Zhaoming was two years old, the Tang Dynasty was founded, and his mother was named Princess Pingyang. At the age of six, Zhaoming lost his mother. Emperor Gaozu buried his daughter with military rites, and she was given the posthumous title of Zhao. Zhaoming mourned his mother for three years and her bones were destroyed. Emperor Gaozu took pity on her and gave her the national surname Li, made her the county lord of Zhaoming, and ordered her to study in the palace.
