In the 31st year of the Republic of China, spring was deep in the canal. Murong Qingyi, the legitimate daughter of a scholarly family, guarded the ancestral home and bookstore, guarding a fireworks in troubled times. Shen Yanzhi, a teacher who returned from studying abroad, came with the spark of cultural heritage. The two met at the ferry. From joining hands to save people to guarding ancient books, using pen and ink as a blade and warmth as a shield, they maintained the inheritance of "farming, reading and heirloom" in the chaos of war, and also maintained each other's home country and original intention.
