Synopsis
This article describes the story from Lin Enze's perspective, using "coffee" as a clue. The story tells the story of two teenagers who were working hard to grow up and had an accident. The day before the high school entrance examination, he asked his sixth-grade sister Lin Mengxi to buy a latte. It happened to be a buy-one-get-one-free event in the store, and Xu Yansheng actually held the last cup in his hand. Lin Mengxi insisted on arguing with Xu Yansheng in order to collect the ten yuan to buy the skin. When Lin Enze hurried to the cafe, he did not ask for the coffee, but was ridiculed by the other party with raised eyebrows. The cup of latte was eventually taken away by Xu Yansheng, and the two of them formed an incomprehensible relationship. When the results of the high school entrance examination were released, Lin Enze went to Mingzhong to report happily with excellent results. When he raised his eyes, he saw the figure grabbing coffee. "Why are you here?" His tone was full of surprise and displeasure. "What? I can't go to Mingzhong? I'm from the junior high school of Mingzhong. It's my turn to ask you this." Xu Yansheng raised his eyebrows and chuckled. Lin Enze gritted his teeth and said, "Xu Yansheng, you're done!" From the tit-for-tat confrontation and constant rivalry after the start of school, to gradually letting go of their guard as they get along day and night, the two actually became inseparable friends in the eyes of others. Finally one day, Lin Enze was the first to bow his head: "Xu Yansheng, let's make peace." Xu Yansheng glanced at him lazily and responded casually: "It's up to you." The heartbeat of a young man is always hidden in the casual interactions and looks at each other. One afternoon, Xu Yansheng suddenly looked at him seriously, his eyes burning: "Lin Enze, I'm starting to like you." Lin Enze's heartbeat suddenly went out of order. He was silent for a long time and responded softly: "Xu Yansheng, I want to stay with you for a long, long time." After graduating from college, they moved forward side by side despite the pressure. With their hard work day after day, they finally won the recognition and blessings of both parents. "Lin Enze, where are we going to get married?" Xu Yansheng's eyes were filled with stars. Lin Enze looked back gently: "Go to the cafe where we first met." But things always go wrong. On their third wedding anniversary, an accident caused Xu Yansheng to stay in that moment forever, and he could never come back. Later, Lin Enze walked into the familiar cafe alone and said in a hoarse voice: "Boss, let's have a latte." The boss smiled knowingly: "I'll leave the shop tomorrow. Your coffee will still have sugar in it." Lin Enze shook his head slightly, his eyes covered with mist: "It's painful." The boss was stunned, with a puzzled look on his face: "How is that possible? I have known you for so many years, and I know that you don't like bitter things, so I always give you double sugar." Lin Enze looked out the window at the familiar street scene, and his voice was as soft as a sigh, scattered in the air: "Because Xu Yansheng will never accompany me to drink coffee again." Concept: Cafes and coffee have become carriers of memories. Even after Xu Yansheng passed away, this relationship still continued through a cup of coffee. This expresses the theme of "love and memory will not disappear with death", giving regret a warm aftertaste.
