My high school years were cut in half——
Half of the classroom is filled with test papers, and the other half is the corridor looking at you.
I know that you go to the art room every Tuesday and Thursday to sharpen pencils. I know that you are used to rolling up the sleeves of your school uniform in three before playing basketball. I know that your eraser always rolls to the ground on the right side. I calculated that it takes 27 steps to go from the back door of Class 7 to the front window of Class 10, but I never dared to actually walk this distance.
Those "coincidences" are my carefully designed trajectories:
Tie your shoes repeatedly at the stairs where you may be,
Place your library card next to yours,
Every time I meet your eyes, it makes me think about it over and over again at night
It was raining on graduation day, and I saw you signing the graduation book through the crowd. The note held between the fingers was soaked with sweat and dried, and finally stayed in the summer of 2025 forever along with the unsent mints.
Later I understood
Secret love is a person's imprint——
I marked the angle at which you turned your pen, the paint stains on your school uniform, and even the speed of the air when you walked by, but I was never able to leave even a single fingerprint on your youth.
