Five years ago, an umbrella reminded Lu Chenguang, a freshman in high school, of Lin Shen, a sophomore in high school. Many years later, they reunited at the same university. Lin Shen is a quiet and restrained senior student in the Department of Biology, who is used to hiding himself in a safe zone with the camera and silence; Lu Chenguang is an enthusiastic and bright senior student in the Department of Architecture, who seems to always stand naturally in the middle of the crowd, but there is another side that he does not want to be seen. From the dusk under the library curtain wall, to the forgotten quiet garden behind the old library, from the winter nights in the old city of their hometown, to the close encounters on campus that had to be hidden, they gradually learned to admit their love between light and shadow, and also learned to face the weight of secret relationships. This story is not about who saves the other, but about how two people who had both retreated while growing up found the courage to move forward in each other.
Intention: Liking is not a reason to trap each other in place. This story wants to be written about how love can make people learn to face themselves honestly and learn to leave space for each other to slowly walk into the light amid growth, family and real-life pressure.
