What is fate?
It would be Qi Tu's fate to accept that he would eventually become blind. Then he doesn't admit it.
Fate is a destiny, while luck is a change. When they are combined, for Qi Tu, it is a gamble with no choice. The cards in his hand are determined from the beginning. Winning is a fluke, losing is a duty.
Domestic research and development has stagnated, and his only life-saving straw is Pei Xingyan, a top expert who has just returned to China.
Pei Xingyan refuses to accept hard or soft advice. He is blocked on the phone and refuses invitations. Until Qi Tu witnessed him being involved in an ambiguous entanglement between three people. A secret thought quietly emerged - he would use the most disgraceful means to lure him into the situation.
Qi Tu succeeded. Pei Xingyan gave him sincerity that he had never given before, but in the end he was completely plotted against.
-
Qi Tu: Do you believe me when I say I didn't mean it? He didn't believe it either.
I lost everything and he was unmoved.
He watched with cold eyes as I walked alone in the dark, struggling in embarrassment, watching me bleed and get injured. I know he's there.
Finally, his fingertips gently touched my new scar: "Qi Tu, please let me save you."
"Pei Xingyan, please love me."
-
-Pei Xingyan, when will you understand that what I want is never money and power, but a pair of healthy eyes and you.
