Two male protagonists, two-way redemption, healing, HE
In his sophomore year of high school, Gao Xu, who suffered from epilepsy, made a fool of himself in public at his original school. He transferred to Jian Zeyi's high school, hoping to start over and become a "normal person" in a place where no one knew him. But in the end... He still didn't escape.
That sunny and warm deskmate Jian Zeyi made Gao Xu untie his knot, and he decided not to "escape" again. But behind the warm smile, there is also a haze of his own hidden.
"You see, everyone has a tremor that must be hidden." Jian Zeyi held his hand, "Mine is on the toes, and yours is on the nerve endings."
They became the light in each other's gap: Jian Ze practiced dancing until his toes oozed blood, and Gao Xu's picture album was covered with his dancing shadow; Gao Xu fell into convulsions, and Jian Ze pressed his cold fingertips against her warm carotid artery.
The relationship between the two gradually heats up, and something hotter than friendship spreads wantonly. They choose to face this ordinary yet special emotion head-on.
Many years later, one became a well-known designer and the other became the principal dancer of the troupe.
But fate tampered with the script again - the price of radical epilepsy surgery was the loss of memory.
When Gao Xu pointed at the unfamiliar old painting and asked "Who is this person?" Jian Zeyi took his hand and pressed it on his chest that rose and fell with his breathing:
"It's the one whose pulse remembers."
Intention: Accept yourself and cherish the present moment.
