Zhu Wencheng, a modern young man holding a real estate certificate in his hand, encountered a thunderstorm in the Qing Dynasty ancient garden to the south of his new home. When he opened his eyes, he traveled through the Guangxu period and transformed into the actor Zhu Wencheng, singing "White Water Beach" on the stage of Shiyun Garden. This garden was built by Jiang Bingqian (known as Brother Shi), a wealthy businessman in the late Qing Dynasty, so it is also called "Shi Garden". It is the place where he and his destined person originated.
In the audience, Shen Qingzhi, the third sister of Jiang Bingqian's second concubine, fell in love with his character in the play, and pledged his love with a family heirloom sword. Unexpectedly, this move angered Jiang Bingqian's son, who had already fallen in love with Shen Qingzhi. Under the revenge of the powerful, the second sister Shen Ruomei was forced to become a concubine. A misalignment of time and space spanning a hundred years, a tragedy caused by suspicion, finally ended successfully with the reunion of "time comes and turns" under the witness of Shiyuan, telling the eternal proposition of trust and destiny.
