Introduction to the work "Light Enters the Crack"
This is a youth story about "looking at" and "being seen".
The introverted and solitary Zou Ruoyun spent four years quietly collecting all the fragments about the luminous girl Zhang Yijia in diaries and memos - the number of steps she finished running, her trembling hands when hosting, and the way she looked like a rabbit when she cried.
In the second year of junior high school, they were connected by a vague "bet": Ruoyun bet to make Yijia cry again, and Yijia bet to make Ruoyun blush. During the four years when the bet was pending, it was Ruoyun's long gaze in the shadows and Yijia's inadvertent glances back in the light.
It was not until the solid ball court of the autumn school sports meeting, in the dust of the abandoned utility room, and in the ruins of the greenhouse where the moonlight streamed, that the hidden diaries, faded red headbands, jerky sign language and common dreams gradually revealed the truth:
The light is not always hot, and the cracks are not incomplete.
When the light is willing to bend, when the cracks dare to open——
Those secret and clumsy loves will eventually bloom into golden flowers in the cracks.
This is an extremely gentle growth fable, telling how two girls become each other's light, embrace each other's gaps, and complete the most affectionate mutual arrival in youth.
Intention: True strength comes from being honest about one's own fragility; true integrity begins with accepting the inner cracks; and the deepest understanding and love is the willingness to be the light that bends for the cracks.
