Two different souls meet at the crossroads of the transformation of the times - one is looking for weight in the clouds, and the other is looking for a fulcrum in the mud. They used an old factory building in Shenyang as a "hinge point" to jointly explore how to achieve a balance between history and future, business and emotions, personal pain and urban memory, and ultimately repair the relationship between each other and the world in the process of repairing the building.
Purpose: The article is inspired by the years of living in the Northeast, witnessing the desolation of this "son of the Republic, the Eastern Ruhr", the city's transformation, and the changing times, including the large-scale corruption case in 2008 that resulted in many workers being laid off and unemployed. It is a story about repairing ancient buildings and repairing the other side's world.
