It tells the story of the growth of the little black cat Mo Dian. From being rescued by humans in a dark garage to reuniting with his parents in an abandoned greenhouse, Mo Dian learns to hunt and face survival challenges as the four seasons pass. He meets partners such as the crow Kowa and the tortoiseshell cat Yueguang, and also experiences loss and protection. In the end, with the help of humans, Mo Dot and Moonlight found a stable new home, using tenacity and tenderness to write the imprint of life across species.
