Chen Xinyu, a top student in the medical school, and Lin Ye, a confused young man, returned to Qingshi Town in southern Sichuan where they were born and raised. One held a stethoscope in the county hospital, and the other was covered in oil in a car repair shop. Purpose: Through the emotional context of the two male protagonists from confrontation to acquaintance after returning to the small town, explore the struggles of contemporary young people facing hometown and foreign country, ideal and reality. The work attempts to present: Real growth is not about escaping, but about retaining the courage to change after accepting life as it is; and love is the gentle determination to still choose to watch a small sky side by side after seeing all the embarrassment and limitations of the other person.
