During the reign of Emperor Zhao of the Rong'an Dynasty, the country was in decline, and the seven princes were dandy and brought trouble to the court. The third princess, Chu Qingze, is smart and decisive. She has been secretly cultivating her power for many years, relying on her confidant Xie Hanzhou to help her step by step. When the Huns from the north invaded, the princes avoided fighting and passed the blame. Chu Qingze stepped forward and recommended herself. With her intelligence, she passed the three tests set by Emperor Zhao and was named the princess to take charge of the government. Faced with the conspiracy of the prince to collude with forces, she and Xie Hanzhou worked together to resolve one by one, and then led an expedition to defeat the Huns.
