Chrollo is a Kafkaesque character.
He cruelly divides his life into two parts: reality and spirit. This rough distinction is actually a great harm to him. But he himself did not realize it, or he realized it but was happy to do so. This character has been forged since he was growing up in that forgotten corner of the world, when he began to observe the world in a subtle and quiet way from his perspective, and it cannot be changed.
