Using the intertidal zone as a metaphor, we weave a slow narrative about perseverance and pursuit. On the shoreline of the old port area, Gu Ci, a sunny architectural and cultural photographer, uses his lens to pursue the architectural texture and human fireworks in the light and shadow; Song Liao, a calm and restrained emerging architect, uses drawings as a blade to protect the imprint of the old time in the wave of commercialization.
From looking at each other from a distance, to the tacit understanding that they have never met, to the restraint and temptation at work, to the accidental intersection in life, to the pull and retreat when the heart beats, and the acceptance of each other after being honest, they are like the tide and the shoreline, in the back and forth of "closer - push away - stay together", breaking their own boundaries. Career and love achieve each other. In the process of urban renewal, there is not only the symbiosis of old and new buildings, but also the two souls taking root in the years, finding each other's gentle destination in the ebb and flow.
