In the mist at the interface between memory and reality, Ella wandered in a grand fantasy: in the boundless sea of flowers, the lover with green eyes whispered softly and pinned the forget-me-not in her hair. However, when I woke up from the dream, only the sweat and a real blue flower reminded me that something had really happened.
Reality is another ruin. In a dilapidated hospital filled with the smell of disinfectant, Ella, who has lost her memory, meets Ryan Lawrence, who claims to be a doctor. He gave her purpose and shelter, led her to explore the truth, and also performed "treatment" on her. In the sea of flowers that unexpectedly bloomed in the center of the ruins, she put a garland on him and caught a glimpse of reality.
But what Lane is pursuing is not her freedom, but the "truth" of the universe. Ella, as a special experimental subject who is immune to almost all medicines, is his "key" to the door of truth. When the truth is revealed, underground plants burst out of the ground in response to her rage, like a new, uncontrollable power within her. Gunshots, lies, transformed bodies, fanatical speeches about the laws of nature... All warmth collapsed into a brutal confrontation.
She eventually took her indelible memory and strength into seclusion in the mountains and polished a pair of old glasses. And has the person who gave her hope and brought endless pain also become a "forget-me-not" in her soul that cannot be eradicated? This is a story about how memory shapes existence, the confrontation between free will and scientific fanaticism, and how love and hurt coexist in the most complex bonds.
Intention: When love is mixed with use, and salvation is accompanied by alienation, how should we define ourselves? What cannot be forgotten, is it the starlight of salvation or the cocoon in which one is imprisoned?
