The book "Encountering Chaoshan - Entering the Flower Totem Tribe - Travel Notes on the Hometown of Chinese Jews" is the first work of "Frog Adventure" which took seven years to complete. The author traveled to more than 100 original ecological villages, forest waterfalls and small islands in Chaoshan and took more than 60,000 photos. He put forward subversive views: "Chaoshan people are a flower totem nation", a strange "minority", "Chaoshan people are born to speak Korean and Japanese". These views caused widespread controversy on the Internet and society, and caused an "earthquake" in the academic world.
