In the Northern Song Dynasty, Shen Mansion was weaving in the south of the Yangtze River, and Shen Qingwu, an orphan with three bedrooms, returned with the unique brocade weaving skill of "discerning a thousand colors with the remaining eyes". His mother died suddenly and mysteriously that year, and the hand-me-down brocade "Drunken Flowing Clouds" was stolen. All suspicions pointed to the secrets of the dyeing workshop controlled by his eldest brother-in-law. She hid among the handymen, using silk thread as a blade and dyeing vat as a trap: she used color discrimination to see through the plot of poisonous tribute cloth, and used waste materials to dye a high-quality brocade with a natural texture. Step by step, she dismantled her aunt's mother's hypocritical calculations and her aunt's sister's open and secret arrows; but she accidentally met Lu Yan, the imperial censor of the capital who was pretending to be a dandy and investigating corruption—— He used the name of a supervisor to explore the shady story of Shen's mansion, and she hid herself as a handyman to seek revenge. The two went from testing each other to breaking through the situation side by side. In the deep house, the struggle for clan power is entangled with the secret art of brocade weaving; below the court, the trade in poisonous cloth is intertwined with the struggle for weaving rights. This is a legend of a blind weaver who uses her skills to keep her original intention, avenge her mother, and control her own destiny.
Purpose: Use brocade weaving skills to break the confusion of family feuds, use female wisdom to resist the shackles of the world, protect the intangible cultural heritage weaving art, and find justice and self.
